Wigan Team Starting To Struggle!!??

Hi i need a tactic for my wigan team as my team cannot seem to holdon to a lead and i cant get results no longer.

At the start of the season i was doing very well drawing with tottenham and manchester united away and winning against west brom and west ham, but since then i have lost 4 or 5 on the trot and i cant see my team winning any time soon.

Take it from me, they are one of the hardest top-flight teams to manage on the game, I've never kept them up and I've tried everything.

Try a 5 across the middle approach. Crowd out the opposition. Using a couple of ball winning midfielders.

The basics of a tighter defence are playing deeper and narrower, can't really chip in if we don't know how you play now.

organise a few mid-week friendlies against tiny clubs (monday nights) to boost morale, then give the players a week off following. The rest will probably do them good and have them ready for the Saturday game. Also talk to your players if they score badly. I tell them off if they get below 6.5.

i played with wigan and sold n'zogbia because i played with no wingers and bought in Lucas from brazil and won the league cup and finished around 14th or 13th, beat arsenal 4-2 btw and start of second season i have 39mil to spend....not bad!!, i played 4 normal defenders, 3 central midfielders, 1 attacking midfielder and 2 strikers

I managed two seasons with them and kept them up twice! (16th +17th) Although they never renewed my contract after 2 years and found myself jobless! I brought in many different players, Check the signings out on my blogs. I've put up blogs about my wigan career. I beat Man Utd twice aswell. 4-1 and 2-1.

I had a go at creating my own tactic and it turnt out be a perfect tactic. i finished 11th in my first season with wigan i was over the moon with this final position.
bought 3 players and they all were fantastic: Christian Benitez(1.6m), Tom Cairney(3.2m),Keiran Richardson(1.2m)
I had to sell a few players to make the funds up.
