If i play one of my srtikers as a target man in a very good team will he score me goals like up to 15 to 20

can you ask all your questions in one thread? i strongly suggest you read FM10 Tactical theorems

For target men:

A Target Man on Attack duty is more likely to score goals. He holds up play in the final third, brings others into play, but is also strong and powerful on the ball, meaning he can hold his own against defenders. Target Men on Attack duty are used more for aerial prowess, rather than goals from ground passes. If a team struggles in average height, they are more likely to deploy a target man to bring in a second striker/wingers and also score from crosses or corners.

As for Support duty, they are just to bring in the second striker/wingers and hold up the ball in the final third. Also for aerial dominance, but is not really there to spearhead attacking moves. He sits deep, collects the ball and holds it up to then allow others into play. Effective if playing Deep Lying Forwards on Attack duty or Poachers.

I play hulk on TargetMan with Attack & his my best scorer in my second season & also gets a lot of assist.

Target Men can score a few goals, sure. Back in FM 2010 i played Lukaku as Target Man and Cavani as poacher, Bagged nearly 150 goals in an entire season, being 60 from cavani, some 40 from Lukaku and the others from the rest.

Depends on the player i think for eg.

It didnt matter whether i played edin dzeko in target man attack or support in FM10 he would still always score more than torres

On the other hand it doesnt matter whether you play emile heskey in target man attack or support because either way he wont score more than 5 a season

why ? I hate the way people want everything in one thread, it just gets harder to search for things when there are plenty of topics in one thread.
While Looking for one thing in particular I dont want to trall through 100+ pages of a huge thread for a topic that may or may not be there.

I do agree if their is already a thread on a same topic it should be merged with an older thread of the same subject, that is very helpful as all relevant information on one topic is merged into one thread.

However when too much is all in the same thread, especially when different topics that are only slightly linked are thrown together, this will make the forum much more frustrating to navigate and will be very off putting for new and possibly some current users.

hes asking questions on the same thing (targetmen) in different threads. dont see why you need 4 thread on the same topic

I play a 4-3-3 with 3 central strikers. I play it like this:

Left-Complete Forward Attack
Center-Target Man-Support
Right-Complete Forward Attack

The Target Man scores an insane amount of goals. Khouma Babacar scored 40 league goals for me last season at Liverpool.

I was talking more in general not in the OPs case, I understand the OP has not gone about it the right way

Well, I play Ibrahimovic up front as a target man with Robinho and Ronaldinho inside forwards and trequartista's respectively, and Ibra is banging them in and setting them up.
