Looking at a buying a new laptop/ultrabook after something portable and light how do people think this will run the game? not sure if it will get really hot or the graphics will be enough?

I have a Win 8 laptop with an quad core AMD and 4gb RAM and it runs FM16 fine, you'll have no trouble at all with that

As a general tip I would advice against buying HP laptops. They have the worst track records when it comes to reported errors/malfunctions after 3 years of use.
