This always worked for me on FM10..... (currently in Prem with Leigh RMI)
have your attacking midfielders and forwards on ALL OUT ATTACK on the Player instructions..... everytime they get the ball they want to score basically.
And leave the other playeres as to what ever you set them at.
Have your wingers to CROSS FROM DEEP and aim for the near post. Your strikers get a lot more goals doing this. Also it stops your wingers from taking on more people and possibly loosing the ball.
I also have my forward closing down the keeper and Show onto weeker foot. If you are playing a team with a keeper with not much composure, they just kick the ball... hence weeker foot, more likely to give the ball away
