I personally say inside forwards iv had great joy and 30 to 40 goals out of mine every season. But I just want to see peoples feedback and how inside forwards or wingers or maybe neither has worked for you!!!

Inside forwards all the way. With typical wingers, they just bomb down the wing and play a repetitive game, whereas an inside forward cuts inside most of the time and gets the full back out the position and leave spaces in their defence. It really helps alot when trying to exploit space behind the opposition's defence

Depends how you play..
You don't want to play Inside Forwards with a Target Man do you?
Personally I go for Wingers with Move Into Channels set. Seem to be much more deadly.

You have a point with target man, but I think crossing is too hit and miss when I play wingers I find my winger always crosses and finds my other winger at the far post, rather than my strikers. Where's as I play inside forward cut in play through balls, score plenty play one twos more options. Also wing backs find space well too with the inside forward dragging the full back inside.

why don't use both?

one winger and on inside forward on the other flank. gives you more options and confuses the opposition.

Yer iv been think bout giving that a try, i have tried playing wingers on there opposite side, then they tend to cut inside and cross.

This. One winger stretching the play on one side, an inside forward taking advantage on the other.

Have you tried this then?

Of course. I do it with most of my teams. Napoli, for example, I had Maggio as a winger on the right and Lavezzi as an inside forward on the left. Supplement it with a buccaneering fullback like Dossena on the left to charge into the space left and you've got quite an attack.

Yer i like having wing backs in my team i use them for width and crossing. They also give my inside forwards a passing option. Im def going to give this a try and see how it goes. Do you play anything specific on your wingers i.e move into channels or just normal? cross often normal.

After trying one winger and one inside forward seems pointless to me, the inside forward played great as usual, the winger seemed out of the game. However im sure its probaly my set up as my wing backs are attacking so the inside forward make sense to my formation, to open up space for them to exploit.

I have an adv. playmaker attack as AML cutting inside and roaming. On the other side i have AMR inside forward attack.. Works quite well for me.. Has anyone tried that?

Na I have tried the playmaker on the wing never really got it working for me. How does it work for you?

Been trying out the winger and inside forward, works well good stuff.

Advanced playmaker on attack is somewhere between inside forward support and attack, not too much difference.

Yeah, that may be true.. But so far it works for me.. He isnt the primary playmaker though, but scores a bit aswell as assist... it would be great if my my right sided inside forward scored more, but it might be down to the player (pedro - from barcelona)...
