i am playing as barcelona, and everything goes great and my tactics emulates their play quite nicely.
now, my only question is how do i make my wingers hug the touchline, and after the ball reaches the middle, move into channels?
winger role with wide play set as move into channels? inside forward with hug touchline?
help will be really appreciated.

also, as a side question, i can't seem to make the most of iniesta (plays at cm),
and can't quite make xavi pass well and a lot.
what roles would you set them to if they both play at cm?

Well, for the wingers, you may want to have a private chat with one of your attacking coaches to suggest to them that Pedro/Iniesta/David Villa should be trained to hug the touchline more so that the play is spread further out to the flanks and make more space to exploit. I will warn, however, that they may come back with a rejection and have a better idea than what you think - which often can be more useful than what you want to get from them.

On the topic of Iniesta and Xavi; I personally would play Iniesta as an Advanced Playmaker on Attack duty that closes down the majority of the pitch and is allowed to bomb forward. Juxtaposing this perhaps would be Xavi, who would be more conservative with his forward runs and be played as a Deep-Lying Playmaker on Support duty. Not necessarily holding the line of the midfield, but generally being the puppeteer of play and spreading out passes far and wide to allow play to continue in good tempo.

i play iniesta in that role. from what i understood you think i need to change his run from deep to often?
if i will play xavi in deep lying pm , what role should busquets be put in?
