Winning every single game - theoretically possible?

As you maybe know FIFA has sth called "Momentum", a mechanism that sometimes let you win without any difficulties and sometimes just won't let you score while your opponents shoot one goal with every shoot on target.

So I was wondering if FM has sth like that too? Or is it - just in theory - possible to win every game, if the player counters his opponents perfectly? And I don't mean just winning every game with Barcelona and 5 times reloading per game but with a medium team and without any reloading.

I don't think so.

People who claim, I don't believe they have not once reloaded.

With injuries, bans etc I dont think it is. Unless you have a world class team filled with regens down the line in the future, it could be possible to go a season unbeaten, but not within the first few years.

I don't think it is possible to win every game, sometimes you just have bad days. Team can't hit the net, striker can't bury chances, other team's keeper stands on his head or the opposition scores a wonder goal, these are all things that do occasionally happen and end up stopping winning streaks just when you were starting to feel invincible.

I won every game with my Scotland squad on the way to the World Cup through a korean tactic.

Maybe they have figured it out.

Easily yes - in 2021/22 season with my Porto team, won every game - granted the league is quite bad, and I have some of the best regens in the game. I play very attacking football, the aim being to outscore my opponent.

Its possible but difficult especially in the first 2/3 seasons (no wonder Jadax did it in 2021 by which time his team perhaps grew together and were by far the best). I did it in previous versions but not this.

AFAIK there's nothing in FM to make sure you can't win everything, no. So yes, in theory you would have a chance to do so. It is natural difficulty: bans, injuries, morale sways, complacency, lack of consistency make it impossible in practice.

I've gone unbeaten in the Portugese league, but really don't see it being possible to win every game in one of the top leagues. It does feel like the game sometimes will not allow you to keep winning. You go on an amazing streak, then suddenly nothing works. Have many of you managed an unbeaten season in the Prem?

Kind of on a similar note, but so with most of my players they seem to peak around 24/25 then seemingly star rating starts to decrease. I tend to always have a young team so have never really seen through a full life cycle of a squad (I.E. getting all players to a real world, traditional peak of 25 - 29), but will an older team be better in that regard? Obviously mental stats keep improving so is that perhaps where many of us are going wrong?

I got unbeaten with Inter the whole Serie A plus the Cup of Italy, but i got 7 or 9 draws i think

Yeah but I don't talk about being unbeaten in the league, I'm talking about winning every single game.
To simplify my question: is there ALWAYS in every game a possible matchplan (including right tactic, right squad selection, right analyzing of the opponent), that guarantees victory?

.
I have, twice in a row - with a squad close to the United squad at the beginning of the game. In fact, did it with a more inexperienced defence. Unfortunately, I lost 4 games in between ( 2 League Cup games, 1 FA Cup final and a champs league final). So, even if you keep winning, there will always be some problem waiting to hit your squad when you least expect it.

I am close..with TNS im unbeaten in About 80 games atm, nearly 3 season! but ive only drew 4 or 5 of them? so i think its easily possible.

Yeah but my point is that sometimes it seems as though the computer blocks you even getting a draw out of games even when everything points to you being the stronger team. It definitely gets easier to avoid defeat but the computer does seem to force the odd banana skin in.

Very, very impressive. Winning 4 Prem's on the bounce I still lost 22 games, so yeah that's remarkable.

2016/17 i managed an unbeaten league season with Liverpool until my last game away to Chelsea where I got dicked 6-1, a team I had previously never lost too.... Couldn't write it!!

I've gone long periods unbeaten with Southampton, but always including a handful of draws. Eventually, injuries and/or over-confidence will rear their ugly heads - or I just get a bit too cocky with my tactics selection and become the architect of my own downfall. I've done a few trebles but haven't won the Champions League yet and haven't done a quadruple.
