Winning league & not been selected for champs?

Basically i'm in 2019 with Everton, won champions league 3 times in a row, league 4-5 times in a row..

started new season and for some reason i've not been included in the champions league? I also had to start the capital one cup in the second round? to say i'm p*ssed off is an understatement..

guessing this is a bug unless i've done something wrong along the way?
please help!

Possibly spent to much money and can't comply with the champions league regulations
