Withdrawn from National Team

I'm managing Seattle in the MLS and I have a complete American stud striker that was at one point a starter on the National team. Now, I'm fairly new to the game and made a bit of a mistake, I withdrew him from the team on one occasion because I had a big game coming up. But now, every time the head coach (even the new national head coach) comes to take a look, he always get passed up, even if he's the best American Striker in the world. I always get news articles saying how he got passed up again.

Is there something that I need to undo that will allow this player to join the National Team again, like some sort of setting, or is withdrawing a player from the Nation Team that terrible to where he will never get back on again?

Dip in form perhaps? Maybe the manager has him in his disliked personnel. Or you as well.

I manage the US in my save and everytime I call up a Galaxy player = withdrawn. Which sucks as they have the best AMR in my save so I've stopped picking them. I think you can whine about it in a press conference. I'll try buying him for my Hertha team and farming him out as he's only valued for 2mil

Same happened to me with Alexis Sanchez, hasn't been picked for 9 games in a row now, which is weird.

Yeah, like I was coaching Seattle, had a semi-final game in league, and withdrew the player from a friendly, and now he's being passed up for every Nation Team competition. How can I get him back on there? He's the best forward the USA has in the world, yet he's getting passed up.

I had it happen to Eden Hazard for me.

Fixed it by using FMRTE to replace a relation which was:

unkown
value 50

to something harmless like likes player/team.

You lost me, what is FMRTE? And where did you see this unknown value that you listed? Is it a bug that you fixed, or a workaround the actual intended gameplay.

It is a bug.

FMRTE is a real time editor for the game. Download it, load your game, find your player and sort out that relation. The editor shows all relations the player has and it will be there amongst things such as favoured players in FMRTE.
