Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I have played football manager for years, but I was not a big fan of 2013 and i've played this one a bit but found it still not as good as 2011/2012 but definitely better than 2013.

So Wolves were one of my favourite Premiership teams to watch, a lot of that was Mick McCarthy but hey there was more to it than that. They maybe deserved the first relegation but League One is a ridiculous place for this team.

So here I am to set the record straight. I'm looking ideally for back to back promotions but definitely want a first season promotion. I want to instill a fast, slick, attacking style of football. Not really Tika-Taka, but definitely a high tempo, posession, attack with good defense. In terms of formation and instructions i'm not really sure what to do yet, i'll be looking through the forums from now until game start in half an hour or and hour. Just to get some ideas. An early thought would be a 4-2-3-1 but i'll see xD.

Any advice from anyone would be great, in terms of instructions or formation. See you all for an update tonight on how it is going and thanks for reading :)

Well if you would like to buy a pretty decent striker try to buy nigerian one from gillingham (forgot name xD) he isn't very expensive and even if he isn't good enough for 1st team he would be good for the bench :) for the 2nd goalkepper you should try marek stech :) from yeovil. From free transfers try sylvan ebkans-blake or pablo ibanez (knowledge from the gills carrer okay gillingham i'm in champioship with them so yeah) As Wolves have good strikers you should try 4-3-3 formation and you should try to attack in the leauge and against strong opositions try counter attack with formation 5-3-2. Maybe it will help you oh and can you check my southport carrer that would be nice :)

Thanks for the reply Jacob, I think from reading around i've got my mind set on a formation, it will need some tweaking based on players I keep and buy etc, but yea I think it'll work. Also not at all sure on transfers yet, but I think i'd be more likely to strengthen first team and use the replaced players as backup. Only making 2-3 changes max though. Setting it up now, so hopefully it all goes well and I can get my first proper post in tonight some time. I will check out your post :) I love reading these things haha.

Good luck with Wolves, they have strong squad it should take you 2-4 years to get promoted to BPL.
