Won't Load

Hi,
I installed Football Manager 2011 via offline mode with no problems, when i come to play the game nothing happens, the fm.exe shows up in the processes tab in task manager but not the applications.
I have re-installed FM 2011 3 times and still it does the same thing.
I know that this game works as I had it on my old laptop.
Help!

Have you right clicked on steam then gone to properties and restored steam to an earlier version? May be worth a shot
