Wont start up

I Have downloaded fm 2012 from steam and and i click on it to play but nothing happens, all it says is fm2012 is running can anyone help ?

There seem to be a lot of problems with this game

I've been PC gaming since the days of pong and bugs have never been eliminated. Which is weird considering console games hardly had/have them.
