hey all, i recently signed Oscar a attacking mid from Sao paulo and he has arrived in my club but without a work permit...

how do i enable him to get a work permit?

Send him out on loan for a season. When he comes back offer him a new contract, your assistant will tell you on the contract page if he's likely to get a permit. This is why its only worth signing players without permits if they're a young signing for the future.
There used to be a glich in last years game that meant you could sign a player without a permit and then immediately offer him another contract and he'd get a permit. Think its been fixed now though.

Send him to a feeder club in the EU for two years. This will allow him to get EU citizenship and he'll never need a work permit for Britain or the EU again.

thats strange.
i signed Oscar from Sao Paulo also, his permit was rejected but granted after i appealed.

i'd recommend him, hes a great player can play MC, AMC and MR. great passer and has a pneumatic shot

Offer him a new contract and if he sign a new contracts it means he can play withyour team.

I had a player with permit in Portsmouth, Okoma. He was in the last year of contract and from the strikers there were he was the one I liked more. Then I got that his work permit was rejected (but he was already working in my team!) with no chance to appeal and the message he wouldn't be able to play in my team and so I should loan him.

However he's eligible for my games. (Though I bought a couple strikers so he's now one of three used for rotation)

I had this problem with Kalinic .

but now it solved i sent him out on loan and he got 1 .
