Work Permits

Hi there, I'm new to the forum, been reading all your comments and posts and learning the game that way.

One annoying thing I have come accross is the work permits!! I started off as Peterbrough, and Brighton and Bognor Regis... Obvious financial constraints made me look abroad for some cheap bargains (large database mode) and I found (on paper) some ideal bargains, but EVERY TIME they got refused a work permit.

Is there any reason or way round this that anyone knows?!?!

If you could tuirn them on/off at the options menu or anything??

Non EU players need to be either awesome players (PA at least 150) or have played in 10 or more international games. Or you can try to get a feeder team to send your players to to gain an EU nationality.

Cheers for that, guess it is bad news and no way round it!!

I'd love to see them make work permits optional for the FM2010 edition. It would really open the game up, especuially for those who like managing a lower league team.

How do you set up a feeder club??

Go to the board room and request feeder club. if you're managing a lower league club you probably wont get a feeder team from europe so either way you'll just have to keep searching for the right player.
