I am currently managing Swansea in the premier league (now its 2019) and i have a problem with work permits.
I signed Douglas Santos from Atletico Minero in 2015/16, and he signed a four year contract unit the end of the 2018/19 season. When i came to renew his contract in December 2018, i got a message saying he cannot resign his work permit has been rejected. Which wasnt a major problem, as he was just a rotation option easily replaced. However it is now October 2019, he is still at the club without a contract which expired in June and he can still play in league and cup games, i assume without a work permit. Can anyone suggest why he is still able to play games and if there is anything i can do to sign a new contract
