work permits

bought kalinic and morton for portsmouth on the cheap there work permit failed so i appealed and they got it but when i go to play them now it says they havent got a work permit :S

how do i resolve this :S
 
send them out on loan to a belgian club if possible so he gets an EU citizenship after 3 years
 
They may have been able to sign but that doesnt mean the Work permit was succesful , you may have to put them out on loan , this happened with Emerson for me.
 
Or to beat all of them suggestions, offer him a new contract and he then becomes avaliable to play.
 
aha this happend to me, most people say loan them out, and thats what i thought, but one time i offered the player a new contract... and his WP went away... after that everytime it happend i just signed him a new idenical contract and it dissapeared.

Is that working as intended or is it a bug in the game? Seems abit strange if you ask me?
