Who would you choose ? I would start of with a dream team from David Beckham.
Well now, my choice :
Goalkeeper - Muslera was it till the terrible 3rd place play-off, Enyeama was perfect on some occasions but did few mistakes. So I guess I have to choose between Neuer and Suarez ( :wub: ) but Neuer still gets my vote. Nothing special he did but he was secure.
Left-back - Ashley Cole. Althrough England was left out the bug games Ashley did quite well.
Defenders - Lucio was quite good, got owned by CR but still <), Fredrich (sp?:S) good in attack but for a defender, defence was poor, so Puyol and Mathijsen are getting my vote.
Right-back - Glen Johnson or Ramos, but as Spain got further, my hard choice is ending with the win of Spanish.
As I'm on a 4-3-3 formation then all three midfielders - Schweinsteiger, Xavi,Sneijder. All as Becks already mentioned. All were quite simply brilliant. Nuff said. Can't think any explanations
Sad that Ozil left out tho, he was fantastic too :$
Strikers - Forlan, without him Uruguay wouldn't have got so far. Even without Suarez ( the goalkeeper ) on his side he could score a screamer and almost take the game to E.T with the last minute crossbar. Fantastic tournament he had. Gyan next one. What a penalty ! Whoopaa ! Even if he couln't win the game with last minute penalty, he was fabolous in game, always dangerous, and also good on the second floor ( nice heading ability ). And Villa, quite possibly the top scorer of World Cup ( thread made before the final ) Fantastic man, good luck in Barca, can't find more words
