DOWNLOAD

This Like any other database I have made has been throughly tested and loads without any issues if you follow the instructions below.

Installation

All together there are 8 files in the zip file, 6 Continental International files, 1 International Friendly File and 1 world Cup File

Extract files to

C:\Users\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\editor data

Start Football Manager 2012

Start New Game

In the chose database pop up box check that you have the 8 files and the files you wish to run with them enabled at the bottom next to Editor data files,
if you do press OK, if not or you have more or less enabled tick change to the right of enabled, click OK

If you had 8 files + the one/s you want it to run alongside enabled you can skip this bit and go to select nations screen, if not your now looking at a list of databases Tick all the International ones and the ones you want to run alongside and press confirm.

If the files you want to add are not compatible to run alongside the International ones then go into editor data folder and re-name them using a number to start with ie 1 another file.xml

Now your in the select nation screen, choose the nations you wish to play or manage a international team (for optimum player choice only)

In the new game overview screen choose database size and advanced options you require, I usually tick add key staff and add players to playable teams to enable a decent amount of players/staff for the smaller nations

Press Start Game and your ready to Play

ENJOY

psycho, was there any way to make the british U23 team enter the olympic qualification after they have hosted it?

psycho, was there any way to make the british U23 team enter the olympic qualification after they have hosted it?

It would mean rebuilding the Olympic Competition and Qualifying rounds or using the Advanced Editor, I didnt touch the Olympics as its already a summer tournament and involves U23 teams so had no big affect on club fixtures.

Ok looking in to it now, going to load leagues you've got loaded.

Straight away I can see database changes are wrong, so I dont think all dbs have been loaded, will post up screenshots of what you should be looking at.

PS one thing I've noticed is the size of your database, you may find you will have a problem with this as the game produces to many regens season over season and it gets to a point where the game becomes corruptable, to run a large DB size or a long career you will need FMRTE and filter players each season of 0-50 or the lowest value you would like to see regens be and mass edit the players to the age off 99 this will force the game to retire them hence reducing the Db size.

Right what Im going to do is do a step by step guide to help you load the Dbs and to find the problem if your doing it correctly

The simplest way to determine if theres a problem is to create a new folder on your desktop call it old Db files then go to mydocs/sportsinteractive/Fm12/editordata and move all files to the old db files folder, editor data file should be empty now.

Now download and extract the database to the empty editor database folder

Start up a new game, you should be lookiing at the choose database pop up (see screenshot below), At the bottom it should read editor data files 8 enabled (8 in total whether it does or doesn't tick the change box and click OK
View attachment 244921
you should now see 8 files with ticks next to them if there not ticked tick them and click confirm the game will now load up in the usual manner.

Below is screen shots of what hopefully you should be looking at.

If at any stage it doesn't proceed like I,ve expained above then let me know.

Once this is working you can move the old db files back, though when it asks you if you would like to overwrite the international files click yes.

Hope this works and you can start enjoying the game :)

How do you remove international friendlies/dates during the season on the data editor?

hey, I was wondering if you could help me out. I want to create my own tournament with NT's. basically my own world cup. I want to know how to set up the qualifiers from different confederations plus the finals itself. thanks in advance
