Worst year of Football Manager

I've decided that this years Football Manager is the worst by far. I think the tactics are terrible.

I have tried to exploit opposition weaknesses on a number of occasions and it's completely backfired on me. Doesn't matter what I do it never seems to work.

I just think the whole game in General is terrible this year

Fair enough, we're all entitled to our own opinions. Personally, I think this year has been the best year. I appreciate how the tactics set compared to how the team plays is more accurate, and how it is of the upmost importance to load three tactics. It's much more realistic. FM gets better every year.

I've found this years FM to be more realistic. The ME sometimes messes up but it's only a graphical representation of what the game has calculated. It may not be accurately portrayed but A goal is a goal, no matter how it "looks".

I've loved this years edition of the game. It's made me tear my hair out in anguish but I've also had great success. Then again, I don't decided if I've had a great save based on the number of trophies I finish with, I judge how good a save is based on how emotionally invested int he season I get. I'm yet to win a Premier League this year but come **** close and I wouldn't have given up those title races for any of the previous FM's since I felt they practically handed you the league.

The fact there are no sliders anymore is a good sign for me... attributes are SI's best way at the moment to display a players ability, I hope though in the future they are no longer shown to the manager and we get less information, a real manager doesn't have that information.

Though tactically I've found this year to be a bit tougher to get a good tactic... though it seems easier to emulate real life tactics, I've got some success by copying Guardiolas.

Just out of curiosity how long have you been playing FM games for? Which was your first title?

This isn't the worst by any stretch of the imagination. But it's pretty bad however NOT for any of the reasons you listed...
