Worth 8 Million?

Hi guys, ive just found this regen entering my 3rd season with aston villa and can pick him up for £8 million and 20% profit but cant decide if worth the money, what do you all think?

tried already, haggled for him last january window and they wouldn't have it now they are forcing it into 8-9ish

for some unknown reason to me i cant, perhaps cause his age or something im not sure but option isn't there for it so im basically 8million now while he' potentially cheap. bad situation haha.
