In my fm09 game, the 2014 World Cup just completed, with my Ivory Coast squad being knocked out in the group stage.

The final came down to Italy vs USA in Brazil. USA won 2-1 (If only this would happen in South Africa)

Well the next day, guess what? They fired Bob Bradley after taking a non soccer country to a World Cup Title.....

i'd apply for the job, but they really don't have much depth in their youth system and I'm already set with a new job as Portuguese manager (after leaving Ivory Coast).
 
nice but FAILURE lool i just took my squad to quarter final ( ivory coast) we had switzland spain south korea we lost 3-1 to spain beat switz 1-0 beat korea 2-0 and in the first round knock out stage beat france 2-0 but some how they got hire than us in the world rankings straight after

The email I got about fired coaches after the world cup was deleted. Maradona was also fired as well as some other smaller nation coaches.

My jaw dropped at seeing a World Cup Champion being fired. I've heard about this happening before on fm09, let's hope it doesnt happen in 10.
