WTF Has happend to my game?

I started a new save with Newcastle Town in the Blue Square Premier North Division 2 or something and I got promoted into the Blue Square Premier North Division 1. I then did my season in this division and came top so won promotion into the Blue Square Premier. But for some reason, when I'm now 'Continuing' my game, it doesn't come up in my mail anything like 'New season draws near' or 'Start of expectations' and the actual season doesn't start, I keep continuing and nothing happens apart from Friendlies and FA Cup rounds, the actual Blue Square isn't starting for me, I've quit and loaded my save a few times and simmed a few months to see if the season starts, but nothing. I even simmed a whole season's worth of dates then looked at results and I didn't play anything apart form like 3 cup games, and the season didn't start yet again. So any ideas on how to fix this? I don't want to lose my save.

Never heard of that happening before... but the only way to fix it will be if you load an autosave file, or a backup save from the season before, if you havent then unfortunately it sounds as though you have lost it :S

Well it is a custom database so obviously the guy who made is didn't make it properly.
