Right so I have this regen and I rejected a bid from Man Utd and he was upset. So he asked what I would do to keep him happy and I said i'd win the league. I eventually won the league and the day after I won it he has handed in a transfer request as I haven't fulfilled him promise!!!! WHY???!!!!????

It seems to be a bug in this FM.
The only way it can be fixed is using an in-game editor and editing his happiness.

i took over arsenal in the 4th season after they finished 8th with Wenger. Giroud and Oxlade requested transfers, but I promised we'll qualify for Cl this season. They were happy for three days and requested to be transfer listed again as I did not fulfill my promise to them. WTF? Oxlade eventually stayed, Giroud to my regret never changed his mind and left on a free. He was the top scorer, we won the league, and the league cup. Again WTF?
