XML Parsing error at line 1 of default.xml help me

What do i do. my game come with this messeage XML Parsing error at line 1 of default.xml

No idea what that means, however I had a similar fault. unistalled then reinstalled and haven't had a problem since.

Remember to put your saved games in a different file and you will be able to continue playing the exsisting ones once reinstalled,
