xml parsing error

whenever i load up the game it gets to the start screen with load game or new game and so on but then this message comes up >>
XML parsing error!
not well formed (invalid token) at line 1 of profile 1.xml
and then i click the ok box and then all the graphics like strecth everything any help please? i have just started a save with liverpool and must admit im doing amazing

Do you use edited database or downloaded facepack or logos? Try removing the graphics and if it still doesnt work its a problem with your database. If you still have problems uninstall and reinstall again.

no i just play the game normally but i dont understand what you mean by removing the graphics :/

Hi mate, what you need to do is delete your FM settings folder. it will most likely be hidden. Good luck

do you know how i would do that then because i am new to the game and i dont know how to delete the folder if it is hidden :/

do you know how to search for hidden files? if you do, then normally i enter 'settings' in the search box and then lots of options should come up. Then you should know which folder it is. Good Luck.

What operating system do you use?
