Years of Experience, but Disastrous results HELP!!

Ok, so i have been playing FM for years, so i know how it works, i'm a ffast paces player, assistant does most things, i do't buy like 10 players at a time just few players some youth, anyway, no matter what team i am, i'm rubbish, i'm currently birmingham on 11.3 and im bottom no wins no draws, out of all the cups and only in december!! (first season) I just lost 6 nil to west ham and 4 nil to arsenal, I love birmingham but i can never do well with them, i kept them 16th one season, still got sacked though, tried loads of tactics im just stuck.. any help or advice desperately needed!! thanks in advance!

if you tried loads of tactics you've probably switched em around to much without letting em get used to it. Just play a basic formation and adjust it to your team and give the players time to settle.

As lizard_growl said, you're probably tinkering a little too much. Find a tactic, stick to it, get your players used to it, and you should see a marked improvement. Try to find a tactic suitable for all of your players aswell. For example, if you're playing Zigic upfront - play him as target man, and use wingers with good crossing attributes to stick the ball on his head. Try setting one of your centre backs as a stopper (Johnson) and another as cover (Dann) Set your full backs to automatic.
Try having a more defensive midfield, but not overly so. Have say, a ball winning mid and a deep lying playmaker. This should at least stop you shipping as many goals, but dont forget to give your team enough time to get used to the new tactics!

Agree with Lizardgrowl.. if your gonan change tactics do one thing at a time, for exampole, defensive line, tempo, passing style.. jus until there accomplished with it.
dont let you Assistant do everything, ive noticed a lot of time when i go on holiday and leave ***. mannager to it, he wont give the team a team talk, prior to match or during it, which made me notice the get angered or frustrated, which theni n turn leads to a bad result.
and play Zigic as a target man, and play ball to head
