I'm currently playing a game with A.C. Milan and every single game, my team seems to be getting 3 or 4 yellow cards. I've had numerous red cards as well, with Gattuso getting sent off 3 times in a short period of time. I've never had this before and i was wondering if there was any way to make the players more disciplined and play cleaner? Cheers guys!

lower your tackling intensity for one. gattuso is a very dirty player, which means his dirtyness stat (hidden attribute) will be high, hence lots of reds. discipline players who get sent off. first offence by a player official warning, second offence 1 week fine

The only thing you can do is set the tacking to more cautious, and perhaps 'stand-off more' for closing down.
Like the post above says, you must punish the players when they do get sent off, weather they like it or not. Don't ever try to appeal, just steps at a time - Warn the player >> 1 week fine >> 2 week fine, after this continue to give a 2 week fine.

I've found with Chelsea that having closing down set to 'Press more' and tacking to 'More cautious' I get roughly 0.5 cards a game, still the odd red card, but no more than 2 a season.

I hope this helps.

Thanks guys......just lowered the aggression in the tackles and it's already beginning to work.

Depends on the referee a lot too. Sometimes you can get away with hard tackling on if the referee does not give too many fouls. Just check how many yellow cards ect. he has given out before you start your match and adjust your tackling accordingly.
