I've just started a game with Liverpool and have signed

in:
GK - alex smithies
DL - urby emanuelson
DC - scott dann
DM - reo-coker ( swapped with konchesky)
AML - afellay

out:
DC - kyrgiakos


I had a swap deal agreed for sabri sarioglu (turkish) with brad jones. The deal was agreed and his work permit was granted but then the deal was cancelled and I get a message saying " liverpool are restricted to having 10 foreign players in there squad"

I have never seen this happen on a game before and Liverpool dont seem to have more than 1 non EU player ( Jovanovic)

can anyone explain this new rule or is this some kind of error on my game?

if you didn't know the lads a Liverpool boy, supported the reds as a kid.

Are you using any custom databases?

you block out your name but we can still see it on the menu ;)
 
I'm presuming there might be a hidden rule in the db, how many foreign signings have you made this window?

Ive only played this game for about 10 minutes.These are the signings Ive made

If I go into the editor can I find and disable tis rule?

 
Click the fm tab (next to continue) select game status and then upload an image of that screen please.

There you go.

If you edited it yourself, then obviously you have changed something by mistake.

If you have downloaded it then you need to check carefully whether the creator intended for this to happen.

The only way to solve it is to use an official database, or a custom DB that actually does what you want it to do. Have a look around our downloads section, there are plenty of databases to choose from.
