So I need a young CB for my Arsenal team 1st season. One with great potential who can deputize as well as rival Koscielny and Mertesacker. Varane would be my choice, but 35m is a bit hefty. Im thinking Zouma and Balanta, but I need an opinion of which of the two would be better, and if I am limiting my choices please feel free to give me more names :-) Thanks in advance.

It depends whether you want your CB to have greater aerial ability or to stay strong on the ground. For aerial ability go for zouma and for second one go for balanta. I would consider getting them both as i think both of them are good enough to play some first team games and you will have unbeatable defence in the future.

Balanta is an absolute beast mate! And for a real bargain honestly, around 10m should nab you this wonderkid. Zouma's great as well, but a little costly. Doria becomes really good too, and I think he's available for pretty cheap as well (Brazil and their "foreign club release clauses").

Thanks for the advice everyone :-) Balanta it is

playing 3 at the back for Hull City and i signed Balanta & Doria.. Doria is actually performing better after almost a full season played. More tackles, headers & interceptions.

Im hoping to sign Zouma too next season to complete a 3 wonderkid defence

In my save Doria is better than Balanta. Had both, but sent Balanta on loan.
