Say a mixture..

Personally i buy young, they only get more expensive & if they do become the best you will only wind up buying them later. Lets you mould them how you want too.

Mix. Sometimes I buy ones for the future, sometimes I just splurge on a star.

I tend to mix it up a bit, I like to keep signings to the minimum to avoid disrupting the squad. I would normally try to buy a an experienced player and a great prospect, one of the wonderkids(We all know them)

if i'm a big club ( like man utd) i occasionally get one or two players (coentrao, moussa sissoko usually) and then get alot of young people. although i can never get the young people to live up to their expectations (apart from the people like yaya sanogo, moussa sissoko, khouma babacar)

Both. First season or so, I go for the best I can, and slowly bring in younger players to slowly bring into the first team. This way, you can work to make the youth as good as possible, whilst not affecting your first team adversely.

young up and coming stars and build then into awesome players
