Young players all over the world, losing all attributes after editing database???

Have made many changes to a database including merging several databases, but have found many young players and some older appearing to have lost all attributes?? has anyone had this problem?

I am not sure, but when you start a new game their is an option to hide attributes which then get revealed when you scout them, so this could be it? But this would be for players of all ages... :/
