i am england and won the 2010 world cup.gerrard and lampard are 31 and 32 respecivley and ferdinand and terry are getting old as well.is there any way to improve the quantity/quality
of english talent getting through.most of my under 21s are pretty average

best is to hope for regen and make sure the likes of Delph find good clubs in premieleague

As England, i don't think you need to worry about talent level. I simulated to 2084 and they were always a top 10 if not 5 nation.

...YOU SIMULATED TO 2084!!!! wow man you need to get out more.

That's hardly needing to get out more is it.. When you simulate you don't do it and the computer does it for you, so he's not just sitting there waiting for it to get there.. Get the facts right before abusing someone.....

And looking at your username, it shows who really needs to get out more :)

Rodwell, Gosling and Mark Beevers etc get good but only if they are played and so on.

I am England in 2016 and the regens are nowhere near as good as Spanish & German. Luckily Toni Kroos has turned English so I have a replacement for Gerrard who is nearly 37!!!
My FIFA ranking was 19 when took over now 14 after 3 wins on the bounce

i was gone for the weekend, so I simulated a game with the India League only (was attempting to get a son). I got back and was like **** 2084!

France won 3 straight World Cups (4 total), Germany won a couple, and Brazil one or two.

That is dedication my friend!(H)

i've noticed most seasons you get 4-5 good english regens who are expected to be good prem players i've hardly seen many english regens expected to become leading stars, the spanish, germans, italians(less so) have epic regens and are norm dirt cheap esp the spainish bought a CB/GK/CM all for less then 50k each and they all expected to become leading prem stars

It's just as Montanaro says, England's one of the top nation, it's ignorant to think they don't get good regens, I see many. Of course, their not instant Gerrards but if that's what you're looking for, your expectations are way over the top ;)
