So, if your squad was split to accommodate a British and Foreign team, perhaps to play each other, how would they line up?

Remember, Republic of Ireland is not part of Britain.

Here is our the British Spurs would line up:

Code:
--------Crouch----Defoe---------

Bentley--Hudd--Jenas---Lennon

Bale---Wood----King-----Hutton

------------Alnwick-------------

Here is the Foreign Spurs line up:

Code:
-----------Keane------Pavlyuchenko-----------

Modric-----Palacios---Krancjar-----Taarabt

BAE-----Bassong-----Dervitte-----Corluka

------------------Gomes--------------------

In my opinion, the Foreign Spurs would win it, a stronger goalkeeper, much more ability in the midfield, and Keane would get the goals for them.

The only stronger part of the British Spurs, in my opinion is the centre-back partnership, and perhaps the front-two, but I don't think it'd be enough to edge it.

Either way, I believe it'd result in a pretty good game.

Post yours, guys!

P.S. Arsenal fans, feel free to sit this one out. :)

Okay I'm a West Ham fan so here is west Ham; it's a very interesting one because West Ham have more English talent and left exterior talent:

Here is the foreign team:
GK: Marek Stech
DR: Julien Faubert
DL: Herita Illunga
DC: Fabio Daprela
DC: Peter Kurucz(Actually a goalkeeper but we only have 3 foreign defenders)
MR: Valon Behrami
ML: Luis Boa Morte (Injured but hey)
MC: Luis Jimenez
MC: Radoslav Kovac
FC: Alessandro Diamanti
FC: Zavon Hines

Here is the British Team:
GK: Robert Green
DR: James Tomkins
DL: Calum Davenport (Injured but hey)
DC: Matthew Upson
DC: Daniel Gabbidon
MR: Junior Stanislas
ML: Kieron Dyer
MC: Mark Noble
MC: Scott Parker
FC: Dean Ashton(Injured but hey)
FC: Carlton Cole

Many players in both teams are playing in unfamiliar positions due to West ham's small squad but it would be a very interesting match to watch and I think the British team would be Victorious in the end.

yeah pretty even british might edge with the goals owen and rooney would get.

Also if you want tot try out this you should go and make a friendly play the reserves with you in charge and see which team comes out on top would be interesting

Darren Gibson is from Northern Ireland, he shouldn't be in the Foreign team.

Ireland should count as British anyway as it is culturally similar in footballing terms.
and those who are eligible to play for a British side certainly should be in the 'british' side, so Gibson would be in the United British side

No, it shouldn't count as 'British'.

There's history there, and it offends people.

gibson plays for the repulic of ireland not northern ireland

aha its major effort, but the arsenal british team is chopped full of good youngsters.

Darron Gibson was born in Northern Ireland but switched allegiances at 17 to play for the Republic of Ireland.
I reckon if all the premier league teams had to field a full british line up on a weekly basis Villa would win the league.

Agreed, I watched the Youth final against Liverpool where we absolutely dominated. Saw some great potential there.
