Can someone tell me the secret about a good Youth Academy like Barcelona?I really dont know what to do to get better youth regens.I mention i have 4, 4+ and 5 star coaches.And good scouts as well ^^).I dont want to spend my money on buying players, i want to invest it in training young talents then selling them for lots of money.
 
I'm managing Shakhtar Donetsk and I have never seen so many youths with so much promise, few years and I won't have to buy anybody.. Hoping that some excellent regens come through.
 
Better Youth Coach's (I think) and obviously a high Youth Academy, Youth Facilities and Youth Recruitment rating. Clearly Training them right with good training facilities helps too.

Also, I don't know if you are, but you can't expect a world class player every season. :)
 
I have State of Art Youth Facilities + Youth Academy, Top Training Facilities and like i said 4, 4+ and 5 stars coaches.My problem is that i get only 2 players that have 3 star potential.The others are half star rated.
Edit:All of my other youths but 2 that i mentioned that are 3 star rated are half star.

It happens, you can have the best youth academy in the world but that doesn't mean you'll get the best youths every year.
 
when ur clubs reputation gets better so does the recruitment what team are you and how is ur first team performing ??
 
as people have said you need good youth facilities

at barcelona they have state of the art youth facilities + academy plus there recruitment is regarded as extensive..thatst eh benchmark youre aiming from.

its a list of the regen dates, i always scout those nations and manually check there biggests clubs on or around those dates.

another thing i find helpful is going into your team settings and there is an option that you can choose to make your youth teams use your first team tactics.. it gets them familiar to the way you play hence you can move them to your first team sooner
 
Im FC Steaua Bucharest in November 2014 im 3rd in a group with Chelsea Tottenham and Goteborg.Beaten once Chelsea and Goteborg and got beaten by Inter 2 times.In my league im a clear dominant having won 13/13, first and goals scored and only 6 goals conceided.Last season i was 3rd and got to Europa League where i wont first 2 matches then i lost on the next phase.

Sorry if I am wrong, but isn't it impossible for 2 sides from the same country to be in the same group? I thought there was some rule where they couldn't..
 
Sorry for my mistake I ment to say Chelsea INTER and Goteborg.As you can see i said i was beaten by Inter 2 times.My mistake.Why would regen dates help me if i want to get my youths from the academy?
 
if you have an amazing youth setup and good coaching (i believe CA/PA on the coachs helps) and good training also dont just trust the assistant report often if you play the youth or loan them out that rating will rise you might not allways get "wonderkids" but i doubt barca will get a wonderkid ever season in reality
 
I dont expect wonderkids just at least 10 kids that have 3 star rating at least.I dont know if my expactations are high but i think its possible.
