Cheers...

Heard he's pretty good so that's not the problem. Does your youth recruitment say 'extensive'? What's your scouting knowledge like and youth category like?

Scouting is widespread and i have all 1st class categories

High scouting knowledge should play a small part in better regens, not sure if widespread is really that high.

Extensive youth recruitment should help alot.

Your youth category should either be 1 or 2? Category 1 is the best and will definitely get you better regens, this, along with a good HOYD should see you bring in a couple of 4* players a season, or at least 3.5*. You can make a board request to have this changed if it's at 2.

Also, see if they let you increase your junior coaching budget. What does this say right now, Minimal, Basic, Adequate, Average, Good, Excellent or Exceptional? I just read this will play a huge part in regen quality, as this is the budget your academy will spend on developing youth players before the intake.

Above average youth recruitment and average junior coaching is likely to be what's holding you back. There's seven levels of junior coaching, and average is only level 4. Put a request into the board to see if they'll increase junior coaching budget, and also see if they'll extend recruitment network.
