youth teams?

Hi all
I'm planning on buying FM 2012 soon, but I still have a question...
I know it's possible to manag your club's youth team too, but what 'age'-teams are they? Are they all U19 or is there also U17, U18, U21,... and what kind of competitions can they go in to? I saw the U21 euro on a pic, but are there also local youth cups or championships?
Please help? And sorry if it's a stupid question or if I'm being ignorant or a noob, I just haven't found the answer yet and you would really be helping me out

from what i've seen so far at club level usual youthleagues but seen u19 champions leagu and europa league too.
at national i've seen u20 world cup and u19 euro champs not really noticed much else

It depends on the league your playing. In England there are U19 teams, in Spain U18 teams and in Germany the reserve team is U23 and the youth U19, iirc.
