Fulham striker Bobby Zamora will be out for five months after sustaining ankle ligament damage as well as a broken leg against Wolves, says manager Mark Hughes.

I actually do wish him a speedy recovery. He's been in some great form.
 
Dembele will fill the void im sure, im gutted for Bobby though.
 
Poor Bobby, especially as he just entering his twilight years, let's be honest, he hasn't had many, wish him a speedy recovery but I feel we can cope without him, I sure i'll be saying for the next few months "we could of done with Zamora in this game".

The England hot-shot suffered the injury when falling awkwardly against Wolves in September and is due to return in February. As part of the process, Zamora

is pleased with the progress he is making, although it is early days.

Hughes said: "Bobby went out there and was running on the pitch for the first time.
"He's done a lot of work in the gym and worked on the machine that increases the load and the weight bearing he can manage.
