did not see this coming :S he hasnt even managed a side before but then again neither did Southgate or Keane and you need to start somewhere

not exactly a step up is it, curbishley to zola

they need someone to take them to the next level if they are serious, they arent a training club, zola should ply his trade lower down first and west ham need a proven manager

Not really sure how Zola can be better than Curbishley. Im pretty sure he wont be able to do anything with them within this season, maybe keep them up at best?
