Sir Alexander Chapman Ferguson
, born 31 December 1941, will go down in the history books as one of, if not the best manager of all time. His 48 trophies won as a manager make him the most successful British football manager in history.

Having recently celebrated 25 years in charge of Manchester United I’ve decided to try and copy his football management career on Football Manager 2012.

Alex Ferguson appointed new East Stirlingshire manager

Rookie manager Alex Ferguson has today been announced as the new man in charge of Scottish Third Division side East Stirlingshire. The minnows are confident that Ferguson has the necessary attributes to turn the Shire from the whipping boys of Scottish football into a respectful league outfit.

Ferguson, a former Rangers striker, is said to be releasing the challenge of improving the fortunes of the Scottish part-timers in what is his first football management job.

Being a part-time club we are going to have to rely of free transfers and loan signings. Having managed lower leagues clubs before I know after the first season to start looking at some of the youngsters released from the SPL clubs.

EAST STIRLINGSHIRE STORM TO THIRD DIVISION TITLE!!

Before the season began many pundits were saying that the best that East Stirlingshire fans could hope for was to avoid finishing bottom of the entire football league. However, under the stewardship of manager Alex Ferguson club has rocked up the league and claimed a shock league win and a first ever Third Division title.

Fans and pundits alike agree that Ferguson deserves full credit for such a remarkable and unexpected feat. His mix of strict discipline and free-flowing attacking football have taken the Shire to dizzy new heights and shown that Ferguson is one of the hottest properties in Scottish Football. Surely if this success continues it won’t be long before some of the bigger Scottish clubs come calling for Ferguson’s services.

Ferguson himself has refused to get carried away. He knows that it could all come crashing down if his players don’t continue to knuckle down. The Second Division will represent a much sterner test for his young side and some wheeling-and-dealing will be required to strengthen the side and prepare them for the bigger challenges ahead.

Very interesting; sounds like it's going to be fun, so I'll be following.

Season Two – East Stirlingshire – Scottish Division Two

After the largely unexpected promotion last year, we realise the task in hand is much greater this season. In truth I only really expected to consolidate in Division Three in my first season then push for promotion during the second season. However, promotion has us ahead of schedule and I’m fairly confident that the group of players we had last season are very capable of avoiding relegation this season, which is the main aim. Anything above that will be a bonus.
Key Signings

Again free transfers and loan signings are the only way will can conduct out transfer activities. I managed to keep Jordan Brown (MC), Ryan Fraser (AMR) and Mitchel Megginson (ST) on loan from Aberdeen for a second season. All three players were fantastic last year.

On top of that we secured some free signings who are more than capable of excelling at this level. The most notable were: Maxime Blanchard (DCR) from the French lower divisions; Lee Molyneux (DL), a former Everton trainee; and Nathan Porritt (AML), an ex-Middlesbrough winger.

Ferguson unsuccessful in St Mirren application:

The sacking of the Buddies manager Jim Jeffries in December gave me an opportunity to chance my luck with a sneaky job application. However, it was unsuccessful with Derek McInnes chosen instead. Hardly surprising but St Mirren did say they were flattered by my interest so it seems other clubs are taking notice of my success. McInnes failed to stop St Mirren being relegated from the SPL so a poor start in Division One could well see St Mirren looking for a new manager once again.

FERGIE LEADS THE SHIRE TO AN UNPRECEDENTED DOUBLE!!

THE FAIRYTALE CONTINUES!! Two consecutive promotions have propelled East Stirlingshire to new heights. Usually stuck in the doldrums of the Scottish Third Division, the Shire are now preparing for life in the second tier of Scottish football.

Furthermore to cap off a remarkable season East Stirlingshire won the Scottish Challenge Cup with a convincing victory over bitter rivals Stenhousemuir. The fans and board are thrilled this astonishing achievement and point to their manager, Alex Ferguson, as the main reason behind this great resurgence.

Looks really good! Saw a similar one last year. Hope this one goes as well as that did! :)

Cheers for the comments everyone. Next update asap
