I have the same problem. But they are neither trained in nation, nor at club. I got a brazillian when he was 18, and 3 years later, I go to register him and it says he is not home grown. The home grown status page says he is though :S

Hi, I bought a few regens when they were 18 years old. I kept them at the club 3 seasons, and when I look under 'Home Grown Status' they are listed as Home Grown. When I went to register my team for the CL, they are not considered home grown. Any ideas? :(
