ive tried this formation so many times but again like yourself have had no success, ideally id love to emulate pochettinos formation at southampton with my team pressing high with constant pressure, fullbacks bombing up the wings whilst two deeper midfielders hold up the ball and a false 9...
Ok so ive finished my 1st season with Pescara, culminating 11th in the league beating Juventus 1-0 Roma 4-1 Milan 2-1 and Lazio 5-0. Yes i did get spanked a few times along the way but thats the beauty of this formation, all or nothing guns blazing.
I have now developed my tactic 'anarchy' which takes Zeman's style of all out attacking football and it seems to be working well :D however it is still early days....will update once i am further into the season i will update and give a detailed review of the 'anarchy' tactic.....watch this space!
