Did anyone managed to do something that works with default Southampton tactic? I mean a narrow 4-2-3-1 with AM's instead of wingers/inside forwards?

I've been struggling a lot with this formation and also with narrow 4312. Either I am poor tactician or ME doesn't like narrow formations. I'd like to see if someone was succesfull with it.

Guys, Post screens of your tactics. Lets see if anythin' can be changed.

ive tried this formation so many times but again like yourself have had no success, ideally id love to emulate pochettinos formation at southampton with my team pressing high with constant pressure, fullbacks bombing up the wings whilst two deeper midfielders hold up the ball and a false 9 infront of 3 creative attacking central midfielders but it just never seems to work :-(

There is/was one on the SI forums, 4231 Pochettino 1 i think it was called.

i am working on one, using default tottenham squad, results thus far have been 6-0, 7-0, 2-1, 4-0, well off of the top of my head anyway, still need my morning coffee.. 'll play some more with it, then get back to you at some point.
