I had a goal of getting Alfreton to the EPL within 10 seasons and managed it after 7 seasons. Getting to the EPL is reasonably easy I found, but it's a different story keeping them up. I went straight down and then up again.

It took me two seasons to get out of league 2 then 2 seasons to get out of league 1. If you make the right loan signings then it should be ok. I scored a lot of goals from corners in league 1 and 2 which got me up the table.

With the amount of free transfer available I would say it's quite easy to get promoted out of BSN / BSS in the first season,no matter your media prediction.
