i have a problem during matches. players are swopping when i havent swopped them.. eg suarez will be in centre mid and gerrard upfront? how can i fix this?

I am liverpool and i am doing pretty well in the league, but i am frustrated by my attempts on goal? i am probably averaging a shot on target every 5/6 shots maybe as some games i can have 15 attempts on goal and only 3 on target is there anything i can change?
