I do this as well. Espescially if its a player who I had at the club before they retired. But only if they are decent at their job, depending on the club I manage. For coaches that usually means 4 stars or better, and for scouts 15+ judgement attributes.

I cant believe my luck. I got him in a network game to Newcastle in the start of the first season to the championship. And for only £5m, and 15.500 weekly wage. He got unsettled because they had sold a star player. I wonder if he will be this good in FM 11 though.

I usually tell them they cant leave as they are under contract. If you have a high reputation and/or you are on their favoured personnel list, they will usually back down. If that fails however and they still want to leave, i just unregister them, stick them in the reserves, buy a replacement...

He actually started with only 1 PPM (Plays way out of trouble), and has learnt 6 more. All through tutoring. But i reckon he wont learn any more then surely <)

Very useful thread, thanks for that MadSheep. I do have a question for anyone with the knowledge: What is the max number of PPM's a player can learn from tutoring? I currently have a young regen with 7 PPM's and was wondering if he can learn even more. Cheers

Eden Hazard. Retrained him as AM L and using him as inside forward and he has been getting better and better. Never had a poor performance from him in 4 seasons, and he is banging in goals. Around 10 MoM each season, and he is already a legend at the club :) Consistently disappointing has been...
