Valencia sounds nice, they have some really top class youngsters.

Tactic sure works for big teams, i added to the Dm, Cm(support) cm(Attack) and the winger schoot less often and added working ball in the box into the team instructions. Ps: in de league cup against Leicester i got a red card early into the game and failed to finish my chances plus i played...

Perfect tactic specialy for away... most of the time i have many chances and win then with 0-1 but thats cause my striker isnt that great, bought Calleri and he scores 2 goals in 2 games now ;)

i have learned that moral and injuries are important on fm, not the tactic... Maybe try the tactic from above, the 4-4-1-1, i have used it with southampton and its really good.

Will use this as my third tactic with southampton :)

Update: this is not the best defensive tactic... i had a good run but the last 4 games goals leaking like crazy, i guess i was just lucky in my first games... Completely outplayed, lucky it was only 3-0. my worst game on fm ever, look how poor the passing is.
