If someone is playing with a really good team, is looking for a goal, or just wants a more offensively dominant tactic, here is a small tweak - mentality to Attacking and add "Pass Into Space". I haven't tested it with underdog teams, I doubt it would be better for them than the original version...
I'm trying and testing a lot of different stuff, but I can't find anything better, it's really frustrating - especially because I'm not really satisfied with this version of Hacker. Yes, it's a good tactic - but it's not really game-breaking. It wins me a lot of games - but it rarely dominates...
There is a tactic (Motion V2.1) with 3 AMs on page 3 of this topic (post #41), you can still download it there, but I don't know if that's what you're looking for.
3rd season in I finish second despite being predicted second to last (and spending on salaries by far the least in the league), only 2 points off championship and a back-to-back Polish Cup win.
Got eliminated from european competitions early because I had basically no off-season (due to World...
I've just run into the same problem. Everything was working fine before, and if I try to generate using an older rtf file created on the previous patch it works, but it doesn't with the new ones I make.
Are you testing only the newest version of the tactic or all of them? I wouldn't want older weaker version of my tactic taking space in the queue when there are so many tactics to test, so I don't know if I should just delete it from history.
I think the big difference maker is the CA140 (underdog) team. If you sort the fmbase test results for the last patch, CA165 (subtop) results are indeed very close, it's the underdog team that hurts their performance.
Here are results from a save I'm playing myself using Hacker V2. Back-to-back promotions, just won Polish 2nd tier division + won the Polish Cup, winning in final against a team that finished 2nd in the highest division (tier above me). So I'm going to be playing in european competition next...
Hacker V2
Also, here's a code of conduct I use to reduce number of yellow and red cards throughout the season, players usually happily accept it (or are neutral), and I never really get more than 2 red cards in the season.
As I often modify my training schedules because it's hard to create one training schedule that will work on everything, here is a little guide regarding training sessions for this tactic so you can build and modify your own schedules
Building your own training Guide
How to build schedules...
For preseason I've been using RDF's preseason schedules, they're on fmscout, just google "rdf's training schedules fm21" and you'll find it. Week 1 & 2 only 1 game per week, then week 3&4&5 two friendlies per week. If my preseason is longer than 5 weeks I usually use the schedule for week 2...
If it's a young player with good potential like Fati, I would just retrain and play him in that position. Older player (25+) I would just sell, but Griezmann can play as Shadow Striker, so it's your choice what to do with him.
I've had success retraining pure strikers into full natural shadow...
More results, if someone was worried how the tactic performs, from different teams and different divisions.
Media predictions were:
Cardiff - 7th in Championship
Gillingham - 17th in League One
Morecambe - 20th in League Two
Liverpool - 2nd in Premier League
West Brom - 20th in Premier League...
