cheers, I have experimented with this, maybe it the full back itself, usually i buy attacking full backs as i rely on there width. What mentality do u set your FB;s with e.g attacking, auto etc.

Hi, Been playin FM years and can always get my full backs to be great going forward ( not overly attacking setting either) but so bad at defending. Wingers either go past them easily or the FB has left them alone in plenty of space. this lets the winger in to cross and my centre backs look bad...
