I have trained Memphis Depay to play striker but I mostly use him on the left wing. The in the fourth season he was not natural in that position any more. Has this happened to someone else? Sorry for my English, I am not from England.

What is your Player roles and duties because it seems like you have to many attacking players for example Pogba and James in the holding positions. Pogba might do the job there but he is not the best. Also set team instructions, a tactic does not work in my experience without team instructions.
