Don't think so, although if you load a league that starts in February 2014 no transfers will happen before it and as long as there's no transfer window, you'll be able to just holiday till June or the end of whatever season/league you're wanting to start in and play from there. :)

Change 'expired' to 'expiring in 6 months' & if they're in a different country to you, you'll be able to approach them, if they're in the same country, you have to wait till there's 3 months, as opposed to 6 months left on their contract.
